We are improving our mail sending capabilities. Starting April 1st, 2025 for staging instances and April 15, 2025 for production instances, platforms that use the default SMTP server will use AWS SES to deliver email notifications to users. These modifications will increase availability and simplify the setup flow for customizing your sending domain.

Additionally, in order to prevent any confusion regarding email notification emails, instances that use the default sending address will enforce that notifications are sent from noreply@cloud.evertrust.io. If the instance uses a custom domain, nothing will change. However, if you used another address ending in evertrust.fr, such as ops@evertrust.fr, you have until June 1st, 2025, to migrate your notifications to the new address, noreply@cloud.evertrust.io. On that date, notifications that still use the legacy address will be automatically migrated to the new address. In the meantime, notifications will continue to be delivered as usual.

It is expected that the migration won’t have any impact, except if you used rules that relied on the originating server or email address. In any case, you can open a ticket on the support portal to request more information on how to handle the migration

Cheers,

The EVERTRUST Cloud team
